Joe Friday
Joe
Friday is a dance band consisting of 9 musicians whose love of music
is supplemented by day jobs as varied as chef, banker, teacher, health
care workers, and stockbroker. Joe Friday features a four-piece horn
section, giving the band a unique "big band" sound. The band
started in 1998 specializing in the popular at that time swing music
and has since evolved into a variety dance band. Listen below for a

The B-52s, Sheryl Crow, Huey Lewis & the News, Santana, Chicago,
The Temptations, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Commodores, The BeeGees,
Patti LaBelle, SADE, Kool & The Gang and Van Morrison.
Joe
Friday has played in all sorts of venues, often playing for local dinner/dance
clubs, weddings, conventions and reunions. The band has played for groups
as small as 40 or 50 as well as crowds as large as 6,000 in the Bismarck
Civic Center for the Millenium Party Dec 31, 1999.
